Bihar Phase-1 Analysis: When Data Turns You Into a Political Consultant
Published on Nov 13, 2025 by Compute Labs
During my Phase-1 election analysis on Power BI, Bihar Election 2025 something unexpected exploded out of the data.
Not opinion.
Not noise.
Pure numbers.
And those numbers tell a story the TV debates will never show.
Jan Suraaj a party barely two years old has expanded at a speed that even established parties couldn’t match. They are contesting 118 seats in Phase-1 alone.
It happens with deep funding, sharp planning, and aggressive ground expansion.
Right behind them, surprisingly, is Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) with around 90 candidates one of the oldest social movements in India…
Yet completely ignored by mainstream media.
No shouting.
No TRP.
Just silent, consistent presence.
Meanwhile, Bihar’s traditional giants:
RJD – 72 candidates
JDU – 57 candidates
are fighting a much smaller battle compared to these two high-volume contestants.
This number-game says one thing clearly:
Visibility ≠ Popularity
Popularity ≠ Performance
But money + expansion = instant political spotlight.
Whether this rapid rise of Jan Suraaj converts to votes, or Bihar’s voters choose experience over expansion that’s a story only the people will decide.
For now, the data suggests one thing:
2025 won’t be a normal election… and the INDIA Alliance still holds the psychological edge.
I think I’ve accidentally become a political data consultant for both the government and the parties.
