Bihar Braces for Battle: 7.24 Crore Voters Ready to Decide Fate of 243 Seats!
Patna, Bihar – As the political fever rises, approximately 7.24 crore registered voters in Bihar are gearing up to exercise their democratic power. This figure emerged after the election authority removed over 65 lakh outdated names from voter rolls, bringing a clearer and leaner voter list heading into the 2025 Assembly elections.
“Every deletion strengthens the credibility of the roll,” says Election Commissioner Anurag Baskey, as officials announced the Special Intensive Revision. Over 1.07 million first-time voters, largely aged 18–19, joined the electorate, adding further vibrancy to the poll season.
With over 90,000 polling stations now spread across the state—making it easier than ever for citizens to vote—Bihar is making its mark as a digitally empowered voter battleground.
